Pollen and clay get into Holly Springs houses

Every spring the pine trees around Holly Springs drop pollen for a few weeks, and it turns porches and parked cars yellow. It also comes indoors on shoes and pets, then settles in the tracks of sliding doors and along the window sills. It shows up as pink film in the shower corners and dark spots on the grout. A recurring visit keeps both from building up.
